In some cases the device might not work correctly, for example:

  • After a computer restart, the device isn't recognised.
  • The device connects for a short time and works, then disconnects again.

To fix this either:

  • Turn off the Apple device before Windows starts.
Once Windows has been started, turn the Apple device on and it should work fine.
  • Connect the Apple device directly with the computer's USB port, this should always work.
  • From the menu select Driver > Reinstall device driver.
